Cookies we use

We use only strictly necessary cookies — the ones the service cannot work without. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

• Authentication (__session) — keeps you signed in so gated areas like the study guide recognize your account. Set when you sign in; cleared when you sign out.
• Firebase Authentication — our sign-in provider (Google Firebase) sets cookies and local storage needed to manage your login session securely.

Because these cookies are essential to providing a service you asked for (signing in, checkout, and billing), they are exempt from prior opt-in consent under the EU ePrivacy rules and GDPR. We show a notice so you are informed, but there are no non-essential cookies to turn off.

Information we process

• Account information — your email address and authentication details, handled by Firebase Authentication.
• Membership status — which plans or study-guide tracks you have purchased, so we can grant the right access.
• Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details on our servers; Stripe handles payment data under its own terms and security standards.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of providers to run the service: Google Firebase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments and billing), and our hosting provider. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time to clear your session cookie. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings, though blocking the essential cookies above will prevent sign-in, checkout, and billing from working. You can request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above. If we ever introduce analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent before those load.
